An international media group has strongly condemned a “violent assault” by Israeli soldiers on a CNN reporting team in the Israeli‑occupied West Bank. The crew was covering incidents of settler violence near the village of Tayasir when they were detained and prevented from filming, according to the Foreign Press Association.
